Questions about your own care

A question about your own situation — a skin or hair concern, or whether a treatment is appropriate for you — is a clinical question and belongs with a clinician who can examine you. The hospital’s outpatient channels are the right route for that, and the appointments page explains how they work.

If you have been offered an unapproved product

It is reasonable to ask what a product is authorised for, in which market, and by which authority, and to ask for that answer in writing. Where a service cannot say, that is the answer, and a decision made without it is being made on a description rather than on a regulatory fact.
